Rec. 8 p.m. COLOMBO. Oct. 28. At the Ceylon tea sales to-day 2.735.0001 b was offered. The demand was very strong for all descriptions except dull liquoring stalky types and low grown Orange Pekoes. Medium high grown brokens advanced considerably. High grown broken Orange Pekoes realised 219 Ceylon cents, medium liquoring broken Orange Pekoes 182, medium liquoring Orange Pekoes 160, low medium broken Orange Pekoes 152, and low medium Pekoes 153 cents per lb.
