Form Horses Include Seacraft and Sandpiper In Principal Events

Patrons of the second day of the Forbury Park Club’s spring meeting to-day should see some splendid racing, and the fields without exception are very satisfactory. At the time of writing the weather was fine and the going in firstclass order.

Attendances at local trotting meetings are always large and this should be particularly the case to-day as the form shown by the horses should throw some light on the prospects at the Oamaru meeting on Labour Day and at the New Zealand Cup meeting, which will be opened on October 30. Among form horses from whom favourites may be selected are the following:—

11.0 : Tahuna Handicap.-—Tatsydale, Mack Sure, Pay Boy. 11.45: St. Kilda Handicap.—-Noble Jack, Aqua Lady-Black Diamond bracket, Perpetua.

12.35: Domain Handicap.—Whipster, Admiral Peterson, Double Dillon.

1.25: President’s Handicap.—Seacraft, Minoru, Dragoman. 2.10: Churchill Handicap.—Dan Martin, Belshazzar, Morning Wings. 3.0 : Royal Handicap.—Belmont Hall, Demetrius-On Approval bracket, Hall Ace.

3.50: Victory Handicap.—Duncraig, National Velvet, Daisy Gold. 4.40: Farewell Handicap.—Sandpiper, Henry of Navarre-Caudray bracket, Aberhall.
