COMPANY DIVIDENDS
P.A. WELLINGTON, Oct. 15. J. Wattie Canneries, Ltd.—At the annual meeting, held on October 12, the directors recommended the payment of a divi-dend-of 6 per cent., free of tax. Electric and Plumbing Supplies, Ltd.— At the meeting of directors it was resolved to recommend to shareholders the payment of a dividend at the rate of 4 per cent. The annual meeting will be held on October 28. The date of payment of the dividend will be the first week in November. Sharland and Co., Ltd.—At the meeting of directors it was decided to recommend to shareholders at the annual meeting on November 5 the payment of a final dividend of 2J per cent., plus a bonus of 3 per cent., on all shares of the company, free of social security tax, and a similar dividend and bonus on new capital paid up to 10s a share. Trustees, Executors and Agency Company of New Zealand, Ltd.—At the meeting of directors an interim dividend of 3 per cent, was declared, payable on October 22. National Bank of New Zealand, Ltd.— The following cabled advice has been received from the National Bank of Australasia, Ltd., for whom they act as New Zealand agents:—" The Board of Directors, National Bank of Australasia, has decided to recommend to shareholders, subject to audit, payment of the final dividend of 3J per cent, on both classes of shares, making the dividend for the year ended September 30, 6J per cent. The net profit for the year, subject to audit, was £528,252." Bank of Adelaide. Cabled; “The directors have declared a dividend for the half year ended September 30, of 8 per cent, per annum on paid-up capital, payable on November 17.”
