REVOCATION OF GERMAN PATENTS

P.A. WELLINGTON, Oct. 15.' The procedure for implementing'm New Zealand a Uffited Nations decision to revoke existing German patents is set out in the Patents (London Accord) Regulations published last night. The regulations provide that wnere it appears to the Commissioner of Patents that no person other than a German national had any interest in any patent which existed on July 27, 1946, the commissioner may give notice of his intention to revoke the patent as from that date. Objections to the revocation of any such patent are to be lodged with the commissioner within three months after publication of a notice in the Patent Office Journal.
