RECOGNITION OF PATENTS
FORMER ENEMY SATELLITES PA. WELLINGTON. Aug. 12. Recognition of "the provisions regarding patents, designs, trade marks and copyright in the peace treaties with Italy, Rumania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Finland is provided for in regulations gazetted to-night. These regulations have the effect of restoring the provisions that existed before the war and grant extension of the time until the end of the present year for registering in New Zealand of patents, etc., that originated in the five countries named while they were at war with the Allies.
