CRUTCHINGS IN DEMAND P.A. NAPIER, Aug. 12. A strong sale for coarse crutchings resulted at the opening auction of the season at .Napier, where the catalogue included 6761 bales of the new season’s product and oddments and 15,804 bales of stock pile. . , , The official report, issued by the Hawke’s Bay Woolbrokers’ Association stated that-competition was particularly keen for coarse crutchings, short and inferior not being sought after.
