OTAGO CHAMPIONSHIPS The first matches of the Otago table tennis championships were held last night in the Y.M.C.A. Gymnasium before a large audience. Miss J. Leathley, present holder of the South Island and Otago Singles Championships, played confidently to reach the final in both the Singles and Doubles. The championships will be continued to-night with men’s events. All finals will •be played on Saturday. Results:— Junior Girls’ Singles First Round.—F. Matheson beat N.
