ILLITERATE DOGS
Sir,—A bloke was advertising in your paper that ell dogs trespassing on his property would be destroyed without further notice. Please, sir and editor, dawgs can’t read newspapers, and when I read the advertisement to my dog he just wagged his tail, because I don’t think he thinks that human beings are so tough as to destroy dogs that just walk about doing nobody any harm and just loving the whole human race.—l am; etc., .
