WIN FOR HORNABROOK
WAIRARAPA CHAMPIONSHIP P.A. MASTERTON, June 7. In the final of the Wairarapa Open Golf Championship, decided here to-day. J. P Hornabrook (Paraparaumu) beat the title holder, H. S. Budd (Masterton). 2 and 1. Hornabrook played excellent golf, staging a come-back to his form when he was the New Zealand Amateur and Open champion. In the semi-finals, played earlier to-day, Hornabrook beat J. B. Crawford (Manorpark) 4 and 2, and Budd beat W. G. Horne (Wellington) 2 and 1.
