WOMEN’S MATCHES
Interest in indoor basketball In Otago should be stimulated by the fact that an Otago team will be competing in the South Island championships at Christchurch during the King’s Birthday week-end. This is the first time that an Otago team has taken part in these championships. Some close games have been played in local matches, though an improvement in the standard of play during the season should make for more interesting basketball in the lower grades.
