AERO CLUB’S GESTURE
P.A. CHRISTCHURCH. May 26. A special sum of £IOO towards the United Nations Appeal for Children will be guaranteed by the Canterbury Aero Club if the proposed field day on June 6is held. The club will raise money by charging the public for joy-rides, and will also make a charge for admission to Harewood aerodrome. If the net proceeds exceed £IOO, the whole amount will be given to the appeal.
