MR MARSHALL LEAVES BOGOTA DISCUSSIONS ON “IMPOhTANT EVENTS” Rec. 8 p.m. WASHINGTON, Apl. 24. The Secretary of State, Mr George Marshall, returned to Washington today to deal with “ important events,” which, he said, had necessitated his leaving the Pan-American Conference at Bogota. Mr Marshall said he expected the conference to wind up next week with agreement on a number of important matters. He said there still remained the problem of economic consideration, “ but very good progress has been made in reaching a decision regarding the many issues involved.”
