BRITAIN BEATS INDIA Rec. 8 p.m. LONDON, Apl. 24. Britain won the Davis Cup tie with India by three matches, to two. In toe second round of the Singles Misra (India' beat Walton (England) 2— 6, B—6. o—7. 6—2, and Mottram (England) beat Dost (India) 6 —3, 6 —4, 6 —4. Mottram and Paish defeated Mistra and Sawhney in the Doubles 6 —3, 7—5, 6 —2.
