DUNEDIN BOY SCOUTS
The Dunedin Boy Scouts’ Local Association held its first quarterly meeting at Scout headquarters on Thursday, when Commissioner L. G. Callis presided. The association is comprised of representatives of parents’ committees, scouters and all supporters of the movement. After the general business the hobbies exhibition for this year was discussed and it was decided to hold a special hobbies and scoutcraft exhibition in the Town Hall in September. Special areas allotted to the different troops to display their handcrafts as to demonstrate the various Scout activities. Stalls will be conducted by the parent committees and entertainment will be provided by the boys. Commissioner Birchall, who led the discussion, was congratulated by the meeting on thq successful growth of the movement since he had become county commissioner.
