He has been sprinting impressively. Her Last Race Sanskrit will have her last race to-day as she is to be retired to the stud. She will be ridden to-day by J. Dougherty, who can claim an allowance. Moonee Valley Winner Tetrare, a winner at Moonee Valley last Saturday, was bred by Mr F. B. Donnelly, of Flaxmere, Hastings, and is a two-year-old by Theio from Odavarb. He cost 600gns at last year’s sales. Good Track Work Wide Range's recent track work has been such as to suggest that he will race prominently at the Amberley meeting today. In Novice Stakes All’s Fair should get a share of the stake attached to the Novice Stakes at Amberley. She was narrowly beaten by Top Class at the Oamaru meeting. Wingatui Jumpers The running of the Hurdle Race at Invercargill to-day will carry more than the average interest for local enthusiasts as no fewer than six of the runners are trained at Wingatui or Mosgiel Park— Prize Ring, Batal, Detain, Siegform, Beau Son, and Robot. When Page’s Raid, Desert Trek, Foxchase, and others are added to the list it will be seen that Wingatui stables will be strongly represented in the big jumping events that lie ahead.
