FOUR MORE CASES
INFANTILE PARALYSIS P.A. AUCKLAND, Mar. 28. Two more positive cases and one suspected case of infantile paralysis were reported in the Auckland province during the week-end. Both the positive cases have occurred in the South Auckland health district and the new suspect is from the central district. These .cases bring the district total of positives up to 71. A two-year-old European boy recently admitted to hospital has proved a positive poliomyelitis case, making the sixth here since the outbreak in November. A boy aged eight, a resident of Hawera, who was admitted to the Hawera Hospital as a poliomyelitis suspect, was diagnosed yesterday as a positive case The Hawera Catholic School at which the boy was a pupil has been closed and children under 16 will not be permitted to attend cinema theatres at Hawera.
