NO RELIEF
WATER STORAGE POSITION The position in regard to the amount of water in the city storage reservoirs shows no signs of easing. The total quantity of water in storage yesterday was 61;996,000 gallons, a loss of 620,000 gallons for the 24 hours up to 8 a.m. yesterday. The quantity in the various storage reservoirs was:— gallons Ross Creek .. .. 20,480,000 Southern .. .. 25,700,000 Sullivan Dam .. 11,800,000 Service Reservoirs 4,016,000
The quantity of water in the storage reservoirs on Friday of last week was 65,336,000 gallons and the loss for Friday of last week was 2,020,000 gallons.
