SEVENTEEN SELECTED
AUSTRALIAN CRICKETERS FOR ENGLISH TOUR MELBOURNE, Rec. 1 a.m. Feb. 11. The Australian cricket team of 17 players to tour England this year was announced this evening by - the secretary of the Board of Control, Mr W. H. Jeanes. The selection of Hamence provides the only real surprise. Toshack must pass four surgeons for fitness. The team is: Bradman and Hamence (South Australia), Barnes, Lindwall, Miller, Morris. Saggers. Toshack (New South Wales) Neil Harvey, Hassett, lan Johnson, W. Johnston, Loxton and Ring (Victoria), Brown, McCool, Tallon (Queensland).
