PREFABRICATED HOUSES
AUSTRALIA ORDERS SAMPLE Rec. 8 p.m. CANBERRA, Feb. 11. The Minister for Housing, Mr N. Lemmon, has ordered two sample prefabricated timber houses from Finland. Mr Lemmon said the houses* would cost between £625 and £750 each to land in Australia. The Government would order bulk shipments of the houses if housing experts were satisfied with the samples. Mr Lemmon said that experts, who had examined specifications of the houses, thought they would be ideal for Australian conditions.
