BOOKMAKER FINED
P.A. GISBORNE, Feb. 11. A fine of £25 was imposed by Mr F. L. Walton, S.M., on Robert Elliott, an age beneficiary, who pleaded guilty to a charge of bookmaking. The police prosecutor said that the defendant, who admitted being an agent on a wage and commission basis, had taken 35 bets totalling £64
