ELECTROYLTIC ZINC RETURNS
The Electrolytic Zinc Company lias notified the following production figures for the four weeks ended January 7, with the production for the four weeks ended December 10 in parentheses:—Risdon works: 5899 tons of zinc (51,722). This output was reduced to conform with the curtailed supplies of zinc concentrates and calcine from the mainland because of shipping difficulties. West coast mines: Ore treated, 4071 tons (10,318). The first of these figures includes the annual holiday and overhaul shutdown. Lead concentrates produced, 326 tons (790); zinc, 1475 tons (3333); copper, 91 (305).
