Outright Win Scored by Grange

A THRILLING FINISH The first series of matches in the Otago Cricket Association’s senior competition was completed on Saturday in brilliant weather and on wickets which had recovered well from overnight rain. Baker’s 77, made by sound batsmanship, for University against North-East Valley, while E. Watson, who paved the way for Albion-.Y.M.C.A.’s recovery against Grange, gave an attractive display for 69 and captured three wickets for 17 runs. G. H. Mills (Old Boys) took his previous week’s score of 52 to 64 before he was dismissed, and other useful contributions were made by A. S. Mills (Old Boys) 57, not out, D.
