COLOUR-FILMING OF CEREMONY
Rec. 10.15 p.m. LONDON, Oct. 18. Because of so many requests from all over the world for colour film sequences of Princess Elizabeth s wedding, efforts will be made to film the whole ceremony in colour, although the weather experts have prophesied that mid-November will be bad. An official of the J. Arthur Rank organisation said that the decision to colourfilm the event involved a risk of thousands of pounds’ worth of film.
