PACIFIC STARR-BOWKETT
A meeting of shareholders in the Pacific Starr-Bowkett Society was held last night Mr A. McHutchon, chairman of directois, nresidin# Sums of £IOOO each in groups Nos. 6, 8 and 9 (2) were balloted for and were secured by residents of Dunedin Christchurch, Palmerston North and Wanganui. Sales of £IOOO each m groups Nos 9 11 and 12 were made at satisfactory premiums, the purchasers being residents of Greymouth, Palmerston and Oamaru.
