APPROPRIATE CEREMONY p.A. WELLINGTON, Aug. 19. The “ Fiery Cross ” arrived at Rongotai aerodrome, Wellington, at 11.30 a.m. to-day, brought by Captain F. C. Allan. It was presented to the secretary of the Wellington Association of the Scots Society, Mr H. Smith; who, flanked by four pipers, handed it to his president, Mr J. Aitken. The cross will be on display in Wellington until Friday, when it will be carried to Christchurch by Mr J. Mathison, M.P., and accorded a civic welcome.
