TRAFFIC ARRANGEMENTS

Traffic and parking arrangements similar to those in force for previous major matches this season would apply to-day, stated the Chief Traffic Inspector, Mr E. H. Barrett, yesterday. He made a special request that those motorists who could come early to the match should do so in order to “stagger” the density of traffic as far as possible. In view of the fact that it would be a normal working day, the crowd would doubtless arrive over a shorter period than was the case for Saturday matches. For this reason, full co-operation with the inspectors on duty would be necessary, while motorists should remember that there would probably be more traffic in the opposite direction after the match than was the case on non-working days.
