Full Commentary On Match to be Broadcast To-day
The broadcasting hours will be extended so that the full commentary of to-aay’s shield match may be heard by listeners. This was announced last night from Wellington by the Minister in Charge of Broadcasting, Mr Jones. While the present power restrictions remain in force, radio stations cease transmitting at 4 p.m., but owing to the considerable public interest in the match the extension has been arranged.
