EMPIRE PREFERENCES
PRINCIPLE SANCTIONED WORLD TRADE ORGANISATION Rec. 9 p.m . GENEVA, Aug. 19. The preparatory committee’s special commission last night sanctioned the principle of British Commonwealth preference with the proviso that preferential margins must not be increased and that any country must be ready to negotiate the elimination of preferences on request of the International Trade Organisation.
