MONTHLY MEETING Mr James Rodman was in the chair at the monthly meeting of the Waitaki Hospital Board yesterday, and there were also present—Mrs T. A. Munro, Messrs H. C. Jeffery, N. H. Colquhoun, G. O. Pringle and W. E. Aubrey. The resignations of Mr and Mrs Stewart (master and matron of the Victoria Home), Staff Nurses D. Tempero, M. Bush, Nurses V M. McLeod, P D. McNally, H. B. Webb and E. M. Gillies were received with regret. Institution Reports Public Hospital.—Patients in hospital at the beginning of the month 118, admitted 194 discharged 184, died 3, remaining 12s, operations 92, out-patients’ visits 624, daily average of in-patients 121.16. Maternity Annexe.—Patients at beginning of month 13, admitted 44, discharged 38, remaining 19. . Victoria Horne.—lnmstcs st bcsinning of month 21, admitted 4, discharged 2, remaining 23. Kurow Maternity. Hospital.—Patients at beginning of month 3, admitted 7, discharged 6, remaining 4. District Nurse (Miss M. Mackenzie).— New cases 9, discharged from treatment 10 number attended 22, number of visits 216.
