AUSTRALIA’S TENTATIVE PLAN LONDON, Aug. 17. "Australians are tentatively considering taking a slice of our population and of our national debt corresponding to the number they take,” said Dr Rees Williams, a Labour member of the House of Commons, in a speech at Croydon. “Other dominions may be prepared to do the same,” he said, “if the Government’s efforts to overcome Britain’s economic plight fail." The final solution would be found in the reduction of the population by mass emigration. „ , . , , . “If Australia and Canada each take 25 000,000 and New Zealand 6,000,000 to 8,000,000, there will be a great change in .the world’s balance of power.”
