CENTENNIAL FILMS
UNIT TO VISIT DUNEDIN RECORD OF A HUNDRED YEARS “A definite announcement as to the date of the National Film Unit's visit to Dunedin in connection with the centennial celebrations will be made in the near future,” Mr P. G. Connolly, M.P., told the Daily Times yesterday. “ The present proposal is that the unit should operate in the city and province during November and December of this year and produce a film showing the progress made during the past 100 years. “ This film will be shown at the principal centres during the first week in February,” Mr Connolly added. “For the February and March celebrations the unit will again visit the city, and these features ■ will be incorporated in the weekly gazettes.”.
