ALBANY A WINS
Poor positional play of the Training College backs was a deciding factor In their defeat at the Oval by Albany A, which was weakened by the absence of Kofoed and Bedford. College received two goals. W. Hadlee, on the Albany w'ing, played with his usual dash, and N lvlong (inside-right), H. Crooks (insideleft), and J. Robertson (centre-forward) pressed home the attack to a goal which was often defended only by the goalkeeper. Scorers for Albany were N Mong (2), H. Crooks (2), W. A. Hadlee (1), J. Robertson (1), and the scorers for Training College were B._ Sutcliffe, D. Wiffin, and R. Young, who all shewed up, in attack.
