STEEPLES TO ELLERTON HALL PAGANINI WINS HURDLES P.A. ‘ HASTINGS, Aug. . 17. The combined Hawke’s Bay-Dannevirke Hunt meeting was concluded to-day in sunny weather, and the track was in good order. The attendance was large, and the totalisator handled an all-time record of £39,408 10s, compared with £30,834 10s on the second day last year. For the meeting the total was £71,747, compared with £60,220 10s. Following are the results:— ORINGI HURDLES, Of £175.
