WIN FOR KING COUNTRY
P.A. NEW PLYMOUTH, Aug. 17. King Couhtry defeated Taranaki by 8 points (a converted try and a penalty goal) to 6 (two tries) in a representative Rugbv match at Stratford on Saturday. Heavy rain fell during the match and the ground was very greasy. King Country’s advantage in weight in the forwards was the deciding factor in a closely contested game.
