MASTER TED SUCCESSFUL HUNT CUP TO FOX HUNTING P.A. AUCKLAND, Aug. 17. The Pakuranga Hunt meeting was held at Ellerslie yesterday, and was opened in fine weather. Rain set in after the fifth race, and the track was holding and cut up. The totalisator handled the record sum of £142,532 10s, compared with £97,191 last year, an increase of £45,341 10s. Starting stalls were used at Ellerslie for the first time in the Greenmount Hunter's Steeplechase and the Jellicoe Handicap and proved very, satisfactory.
