RUSSEL STREET BOYS’ CLUB
Tire Russell Street Boys’ Club gave a demonstration of its physical activities on Thursday evening. The programme included gymnastics, boxing, wrestling, and table tennis. A tribute to the work of the boys was paid by Mr White, the physical director, who, at the conclusion of the evening, stated that he would be retiring from the club. Arnold Carson, on behalf of the boys, and Mr MacGregor spoke of the value of the training that had been given by Mr White. A pair of boxing gloves and several certificates were presented to the club by Mr White.
