INQUEST ADJOURNED
ELDERLY CYCLIST’S DEATH An inquest into the death'' of John Patterson, a retired labourer, aged 66, of Brighton, was opened yesterday afternoon before Mr J. D. Willis, S.M. Evidence of identification was heard, and the inquest was adjourned sine Patterson was cycling • along the Green Island-Brighton highway on Wednesday, when he was involved in a collision with a motor lorry. He was thrown over the bonnet of the lorry on to the footpath and received internal injuries, face lacerations and a broken leg. He died on Thursday afternoon.
