BRITAIN’S CRISIS
OFFER OF SPECIAL PRAYERS ANGLICAN ARCHBISHOP’S REQUEST P.A. CHRISTCHURCH, Aug. 15. “The Archbishop of New Zealand hopes that special prayers will be offered in all Anglican churches on Sunday for the blessing of God upon the conference now being summoned by the Government to consider ways and means of assistance to Britain in its present crisis and for guidance in regard to the measures to be adopted.” This message was issued to-day by the Primate of New Zealand, Arch,bishop West-Watson.
