REPRESENTATION AT SECURITY COUNCIL
Rec. 11.30 p.m. BATAVIA, Aug. 14. The Indonesian Republic would take strong exception if representatives of other parts of Indonesia outside the Republic would be allowed to take part in the Security Council discussion, said a message from the Republican Government to-day. The Republican Government was of the opinion that the so-called state of East Indonesia and Borneo, or other parts of Indonesia recently “ liberated,” had no right to represent current opinion. The Republic and Indonesian people were of the opinion that “ new States ” created by the Dutch before democratic settlement could be reached did not have the confidence of the people. dißrdateia-tionifC
