AMATEUR SNOOKER
L. NAPPER CHAMPION The final of the Amateur Snooker ChamDionship of Otago was played last night before a good audience. There was some first-class snooker, the first three frames being very even, but A. Rudduck was*unlucky in the fourth frame, giving 12 away early in the game. The scores are as follows (Napper’s scores first):— fl_4l 39—46, 49—38, and 82—36. Napper the’ first holder of the Dewar Cup. The final of the .Amateur Billiards rhamnionship will commence to-night at 730 when A Rudduck (the holder) will meet W C. Proctor in the first session of 500 up. The final session will be played to-morrow night.
