LOCAL POWER SAVING There was a saving of only 7.1 per cent, last week, instead of 10 per cent., the saving called for. Although there wag a saving of approximately 3000 units on Friday and Saturday of last week, an excess consumption on Sunday, added to the 11,000 units consumed in excess from Monday to Thursday, gave an excess consumption for the week of 8790 units. The allocation of units for last week was 456,984, but this week the allocation is less—442,620 units.
