JOHN CHARLES THOMAS
WORLD FAMOUS SINGER Mr John Charles Thomas, who is to appear at the Town Hall to-morrow night, will arrive in Dunedin this afternoon, so that he may enjoy a rest before his only concert here. Although close on 400 chairs were installed on the stage of the Theatre Royal,' Christchurch, for his two concerts in that city, there were still hundreds of people who were unable to obtain seats, and unfortunately it will be impossible for the famous singer to present a return concert, as he is due to leave for America early next week. Scenes of enthusiasm have marked each of the concerts given by Mr Thomas in New Zealand, and he is assured of a’ similar reception here tomorrow night. There are still a limited number of seats available, and these may be reserved at the D.I.C. from 9 o’clock this’ morning.
