WOMEN'S COMPETITION
KINGS IN UNBEATABLE POSITION With only one series of matches to play, Kings must win the senior cup. There were two surprises in the matches played, on Saturday. Taieri almost produced a major upset by holding the lead against Kings until 10 minutes before the final whistle, while Training College gained an overwhelming victory over Otago. In the A2 Grade. University B has a clear lead. The B 1 Grade is still open, Training College B again regaining a leading position by defeating Wesley. The results in the A 1 Grade were:— University 4, Dunedin nil. • Taieri «, Kings 2. Training College 7, Otago 1.
