EXCELLENT HUNTING
CLUB MEET AT BRIGHTON Although the number following at the Otago Hunt Club’s meet on Saturday was smaller than usual through several members being at the Grand National, those who did follow had excellent hunting. Miss B. McFarlane made her first appearance on the hunting field. Those who followed the hounds were Acting Master W. Morland •on Garrv; Acting Deputy-master W. Clifford on Nola: Huntsman.J. McCulloch on Dictator; Whip R. Garside on Sunny; Miss N. Barclay on Astro; Miss Y. Clifford on Blackthorne; Miss B. McFarlane on Puzzle; Miss N. Landreth on Gay Rajah; Miss G. King on Skipper; Mrs M. Gorton on Sally Mine; R. Fox on Bambi: G. Geary on Diamond: R. Sim on Nugget; F. Gorton on Red Shadow; I Pollock on Top Town; R. Carter on Miss Muffet. Jumping competitions which were held, resulted as follows: Open Jump.—Miss M. Wilsons Bambi (R. Fox) 1, J. S. McKay's Dictator (Miss E. Ings) 2. Mrs M. Gorton’s Sally Mine (owner) 3.
