HOCKEY
Playing the annual fixtures with North Otago at Patearoa on Saturday, Maniototo scored comfortable victories in each grade. The B Grade team had little opposition and scored a runaway win by 11 goals to 1. The A Grade was won by Maniototo by 8 'goals to 2, but the match was more even than the scores would indicate. The superior finish of the Maniototo team decided the match.
