A RECORD YEAR

WINTER SHOW CONCLUDES The 1947 Winter Show of the Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Society, which concluded last night, was stated by officials to have been a recordbreaking fixture. By 11 o’clock last night most of the exhibits had been removed from the stalls, and to-day the work of dismantling the stands will be done. The cattle were to have been despatched to Burnside by train early this morning, either for killing or trucking. A tribute to the work of the honorary committee and stewards was paid by the secretary of the. society, Mr R. D.
