IMPORTATIONS FROM BRITAIN ALL RESTRICTIONS REMOVED p A WELLINGTON, June 4. All restrictions affecting licences for the importation of cups and saucers from the United Kingdom have been removed, and tableware licences may be utilised for the importation of all available types of cups and saucers. Advice to this-effect had been reclined from the Acting Minister of Customs, Mr Nordmeyer, by the Manufacturers’ Representatives Association. Should it prove necessary to review this decision later, the Minister stated, the local china importers would be heard before anything was done.
