DAVIS CUP SINGLES
ROBSON REPLACES BARRY MATCH AGAINST CZECHO- • SLOVAKIA Rec. 11 p.m. LONDON, May 28. Reuter’s Prague correspondent says that the universities champion, J. E. Robson, will replace J. A. Barry as second Singles player in New Zealand’s Davis Cup team which will meet Czechoslovakia in the third round. R. S. McKenzie will again play first string. Czechoslovakia has selected Drobny and Cernik, the victors in the ties with Sweden and Switzerland. The draw is as follows:—May 30, Robson v. Drobny, McKenzie v. Cernik; May 31, McKenzie and Robson v. Drobny and Cernik; June 1, Robson v. Cernik; McKenzie v. Drobny. The first match each day will begin at 2 p.m. GMT.
