LONDON, May 26. A dense crowd which had waited for five hours outside Buckingham Palace to-day on the occasion of Queen Mary’s birthday called: We want Queen Mary,” and when Her Majesty appeared on the balcony with other members of the Royal Family the crowd sang “ Happy Birthday to Y The Royal Horse Artillery at noon fired a salute when 31 members of the Royal Family celebrated the birthday with luncheon with the King ana Queen. The Duke and Duchess of Gloucester, Lord and Lady Mountbatten, and Lieutenant Philip Mountbatten were among those present. Queen Mary is spending the rest of the day quietly with members of her family. The Duke of Windsor spent three-quarters of an hour this morning with Queen Mary.
