WOMEN’S SECTION RSA
ANNUAL REPORT a The annual report of the Women’s Section of the Oamaru RSA stated that the association had a strong membership and was in a sound financial position. Several overseas brides had been welcomed to meetings. Hospital visits were still carried out, Ice cream being supplied to the children's ward once a month. Funds had been raised which enabled the association to forward approximately 100 parcels to relatives and friends of members In Britain. . The following nominations have been received for the incoming executive:— President, Mesdames K. Smith and W. Robertson; committee —Mesdames A. Tavendale, L. Sherwin, J. Nicolson, J. Altcheson, M. Diver, N. Dolan, V. Roberts, A. Reid, M. Budd, E. Campbell, J. Kennedy, M. Maynard, C. Maurice, M. Hodge. M. Pearce, V. Ross.
